Montana Reentry Initiative: By utilizing the collaboration between many agencies and the partnerships with many national organizations and departments, Montana Reentry Initiative is proud to deliver the nation’s best correctional practices that help with the transition of ex-offenders from prison back to the community. The goal of the Initiative is to create value-making law-abiding citizens without risk of recidivism supported with housing, employment, and positive relationships.

GALLATIN COUNTY RE-ENTRY PROGRAM (GCRP): Built by the Community, Counseling and Correctional Services Inc, the Gallatin County Reentry Program utilizes a wide range of society resources to provide treatment and pre-release care for male offenders. The goal is to help male offenders to re-enter the community with good attitude, safe environment and positive values that can do good to the neighborhood.
Montana Women’s Prison And Passages (Pre-Release): This pre-release care program currently assists directly 265 female offenders and partially 245 more in Montana. The programs range from educational to vocational training so the participants have some skills to work after their release. Some parenting programs are included with volunteers involved to help ex-offenders learn infant treatment, parental skills, family behavior, etc.
Helena Prerelease Center: With a large facility capable of hosting up to 105 inmates, Helena’s Pre-release Center aims at providing the treatment service for Montana male offenders. The services will make it comfortable for them in their re-integration back to the community. With employment, education, treatment and connections playing as the focus of the Center, participants will have more opportunities to become good citizens of the community that are welcome back from prison.
