Nebraska Department of Correctional Services: The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services helps its participants tackle their pre-release challenges over a wide range of aspects such as mental health, vocational counseling, skill training, housing, criminal behavior, employment, and so on. This program aims at helping them reconnect to their families, friends and neighborhoods in a way that secures their positive relationships and good social reunification. It also has a strong partnership with Christian Heritage and National Fatherhood Initiative.

Reentry AfterCare: Founded in Iowa, this reentry program has been widely known and implemented in many states to help inmates receive good support from the community for their release. Powered with strong volunteers and large community-based networks of faith-based organizations, the Reentry Aftercare is proud to ensure safe and productive reintegration of ex-offenders in the community.
‘Ban the Box’ in Hiring Program: The Ban-the-box stipulates that employers are prevented from running background check or criminal record check on candidates until they have made it to the first or second interview, or when the offer is made. This regulation prohibits the practice of blackballing people, especially ex-offenders only because they have served time in prison. However, employers are also not required to hire felons if they are not qualified for other reasons.
Released and Restored: What the Released and Restored does includes teaching inmates good thinking and positive social attitude, conflict handling skills, providing housing consultancy, employment assistance, and so on. It believes by helping ex-offenders before their release will have better chance to turn them into good members of the community that create values and contribute to the neighborhood.
