Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC): The MDOC works with commitment to promoting public safety and community security by carrying out custody, control, care and treatment for our inmates. It believes that the programs will help with their reintegration into the community after they have served their sentence. It also helps to reduce their prison term and minimize recidivism through training, treatment and education.
MS Reentry Guide: This brings information useful for not only ex-offenders but their families and friends as well. The goal of the guide is to make sure ex-offenders who have fully served their sentence will have a better life when they reconnect to their neighborhoods and they will have little trouble finding jobs, training, education, assistance after their release.
